The smartphone comes in a small black box, designed in the form of carbon fiber. The box contains:
Both models have LPDDR4X RAM, 0.6 V, up to 1600 MHz, and up to 4266 Mbps. And the read-only storage device has the UFS 3.0 standard, with a speed of 11.6 GB.
Junior version - Vivo iQOO Pro will be available in two versions:
BUT Vivo iQOO Pro 5G has three options:
Vivo iQOO Pro has an attractive appearance: the back surface is made of 2.5D curved glass, on which there is a gradient pattern. The pattern is a set of lines located on both sides of the case, at an angle of approximately 60 degrees, which move towards each other. The phone will be available in 3 color options: black (“racing”), as well as two shades of blue (“phantom” and “ghostly”).
On the beautiful back cover there is a three-module main camera and a flash under it. There is an iQOO logo at the bottom (Vivo iQOO Pro 5G version has a 5G icon above the logo). So that users and those around them do not forget that they have a real monster in front of them, the manufacturers made the inscription “MONSTER INSIDE” in the middle, which glows with diodes.
The front side of the device consists of a large screen, which occupies approximately 83.9% of the usable area, screen frames, a front camera in a waterdrop notch, a speaker above the camera, light and proximity sensors.
On the right side, in addition to the power and volume buttons, there are touch triggers that provide convenient control of the index fingers during the game. Also pressing triggers runs:
At the bottom there is a loudspeaker, a microphone, a SIM card slot and a Type-C connector. On the top is a headphone jack and a microphone. On the left side, you can see the inscription Vivo, and there is also a button, the function of which is not yet known.
The built-in, non-removable lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 4,500 mAh is responsible for autonomous operation. For active games, this capacity will not always be enough, so manufacturers have added a 44W high-speed charging function. In just 17 minutes, the charge level will rise to the 50% mark, and for 100% it takes half an hour.
In addition to the button responsible for unlocking and power, the device can be unlocked with a fingerprint scanner built into the display. Manufacturers assure that the built-in sensor differs from others in area, which has doubled in size and recognition speed - the sensor responds 50% faster. The face recognition function (FaceID) also works.
As mentioned above, the smartphone is powered by a fast and reliable processor with a seven-nanometer process technology - Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 Plus. An improved version of Snapdragon 855 was developed specifically for gaming smartphones and flagships.
The Snapdragon 855 Plus runs on a triple-cluster design that includes Kryo 485 cores, where one high-performance core at 2.94GHz, three cores at 2.42GHz, and four cores at 1.8GHz. The maximum frequency of 2.96 GHz provides a performance increase of 4.2% compared to Snapdragon 855. Also, the graphics processing speed is increased by 15%, due to the installed Adreno 640 chip, which reaches 700 MHz.
When buying a smartphone for games, the main criteria for choosing buyers are high performance, good autonomy and the presence of a cooling system. Opposite the first two requirements, you can check the box, as the novelty meets the requirements. As for the third point, here too Vivo iQOO Pro will please gamers. On board is an advanced carbon fiber and liquid cooling system.
Vivo iQOO Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie and Funtouch OS 9 with monster ui skin. Optimized for gaming and maximum usability, the interface includes many useful features, including:
The display of the smartphone is Super AMOLED, with a diagonal of 6.41 inches (area 100.9 cm2) and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The matrix supports Full HD + resolution. The screen is scratch resistant and has 2.5D glass.
Make it easy to use - the aspect ratio is 19.5:9. The density of pixels per inch is quite high - 402 and 100% color coverage of the NTSC and DCI-P3 ranges.
The rear camera has three modules. The first wide-angle module is represented by a Sony IMX582 image sensor, with a resolution of 48 megapixels, f / 1.8 aperture, a ½ sensor and a pixel size of 0.8 micrometers.
The second wide-angle sensor has a viewing angle of 120 degrees and a resolution of 13 megapixels. A third sensor with 2 megapixels is needed for macro photography (focal length 2.5 cm) and for blurring the frame in portrait shooting.
Main camera features:
The front camera is expressed with a resolution of 12 megapixels and f / 2.0 aperture. The camera supports face detection and HDR.
At the moment, there are only two photos taken on the network on the Vivo iQOO Pro. Unfortunately, the size of the photographs does not allow us to draw accurate conclusions about their quality, but on the whole, a very pleasant picture emerges, both literally and figuratively.
Vivo iQOO Pro 5G boasts perfect signal quality. Typically, smartphones have four antennas. In Vivo iQOO Pro 5G, developers were able to install as many as six antennas. In total, twelve antennas are obtained in the device. In order to exclude possible signal deterioration due to the smartphone being in the hands, the developers placed four antennas at the top of the screen and two at the bottom.
Vivo iQOO Pro has the following built-in sensors:
At the moment iQOO Pro 5G is the cheapest representative of the flagship smartphones powered by ultra-fast and powerful processor - Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 Plus and supporting 5G network.
After reading the review, we can conclude that these are not the only advantages of the smartphone. Based on the many advantages, we can safely recommend Vivo iQOO Pro 5G for purchase. And for those who do not care about 5G support, the purchase of a younger model with identical characteristics is recommended - Vivo iQOO Pro.
