Until 2018, smartphones were released under this brand, after which the former vice president of OPPO Sky Li announced Realme as an independent company in the Weibo microblog. The plans of the newly minted company included the release of mobile phones with high performance, stylish appearance and reasonable cost, designed for young users around the world. In November 2018, the company got its own logo. The debut was a great success: for the year the company has already released a dozen models. In May 2019, Realme entered the Chinese market, a month later - to Europe. By August, smartphones began to be successfully sold in the markets of 20 countries, about 10 million copies of goods were purchased, and the brand climbed the stairs and entered the top ten global manufacturers of mobile phones.

There are a number of features: affordable price against the backdrop of high performance; screens with a large diagonal (from 6 inches); unusual design with a bright body with overflows; a thin frame, as a result of which the front camera leaves the body or has a cutout in the form of a tiny drop; using the Android operating system with the ColorOS shell, as in OPPO smartphones.
