The Orro company appeared on the vast Russian market quite recently, but in its homeland in China it is already a proven brand that has taken a leading position among smartphone manufacturers. A specific date for the appearance on the market of the new Oppo F11 Pro model was not announced, this remains a secret for now and adds no small amount of intrigue to the rumors around the new device. The presentation of the device was supposed to happen in late February - early March.

Fame Orro was given far from immediately. It has come a long way in 15 years from a little-known company that produced simple audio devices to a popular brand whose smartphones sell in huge numbers on the widest market platforms in the world.During this time, the company's devices have repeatedly sounded loud with their distinctive features - novelties on the market, among the achievements: the thinnest phones that came out among the first, the first device with a rotating camera, the latest technology for fast-charging batteries.

Now it's time again to draw attention to yourself and surprise with another highlight. This time, the innovation will affect the front camera of the Oppo F11 Pro smartphone, which will gain the ability to move forward.

Appearance and main characteristics

Externally, the new smartphone from Orro does not have any special features. The front panel is a virtually frameless screen, except for a small indentation at the bottom of the front side. The "back" of the device is a carrier of color, of the possible colors, only one option is known so far - Glacier Blue or blue glacier.There is also evidence that two more colors are possible - thunder black (stormy black), aurora green (bright green). In the center is a fingerprint scanner and a dual main camera along with a flash. The main feature and novelty at the same time has become a retractable front camera, smoothly “leaving” in the center of the case above the screen when you need to take a picture. It was this feature that allowed the front panel to be freed from the top field of the frame and gave the Oppo F11 Pro elegance and mystery.

The body of the smartphone is completely monolithic, this is facilitated by the applied 2.5D glass, which smoothly passes into the body, creating a fairly solid integral structure.

IPS LCD matrix allows you to recognize and transmit 16 million colors and shades, while maintaining the quality of their reflection on the entire surface of the screen is the same in all viewing angles. Viewing corner zones is clear, color reproduction and contrast are at a high level.

The diagonal is 6.5 inches (this is approximately 103.2 cm2). The ratio of the area of ​​​​the entire display to the body of the smartphone is about 84.1%. The frames are very thin, except for the bottom edge, which creates an additional visual effect of increasing the size.If we talk about pixel resolution, then with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, this parameter is 1080 x 2340 pixels with a density of ~ 397 ppi.

The dimensions of the smartphone are 161.3 * 76.1 * 8.8. Based on this, it is safe to say that the screen size is more than comfortable for the eyes during operation. Lighting does not affect image quality. The picture is equally high quality without graininess in normal light and in bright sunlight.

The eight cores are divided in half between Cortex-A73=2.1GHz and Cortex-A53=2.0GHz, providing excellent performance and power saving at the same time.

The amount of the operating part of the memory is designed for the size of the installed programs plus their speed, so there should not be any slowdown in the phone.

There is no slot for expanding with a flash card, so you won’t be able to get an additional resource. But, despite this, the internal memory will be quite enough for operation without fanaticism.

Smartphone cameras

Orro likes to surprise with unusual things. This time, it was the cameras of the device that became the main highlight.

The front camera is completely invisible at first glance, because it is not visible from the outside of the case. This model uses the function of a retractable camera periscope at the top of the case in its very center. It has a resolution of 16 megapixels with a pixel size of 1.0 µm, which means sharp and accurate images, both in photo and video applications. The platform's video encoder improves the quality in any video calls even with poor internet speeds. The connection no longer affects the image when communicating on Skype, Facebook and other instant messengers. Speed ​​has no effect on YouTube videos. Thanks to the MediaTek Helio P70 processor with its super artificial intelligence, the face is recognized with an accuracy of up to 90%.

The main camera also pleased: a dual video block of 48 and 5 megapixels, combined with excellent instant focusing and a tenfold zoom, which does not even have the slightest distortion of the picture.

This Orro model is already rightfully called a photo smartphone because of the capabilities of its cameras.

There is a fast battery charging and this is an additional convenience when you do not have to wait several hours for the charge to reach the maximum mark.
