The Meizu 15 Lite (32GB and 64GB) smartphone has a 5.46 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920*1080. The screen is under protective glass. Testing of the phone showed that the quality of the transmitted picture cannot be called ideal. Unlike the more advanced Amoled matrix, IPS creates a less bright and juicy image. There are minor flaws in the transmission of colors, the maximum screen brightness is 242 cd / sq.m., the minimum is -2 cd / sq.m. But for its price range, the Meizu 15 Lite has a good widescreen, and its color reproduction, in general, is quite realistic.

Performance

The smartphone runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor with 4GB of RAM.Snapdragon 626 differs from its predecessor Snapdragon 625 with a frequency increased to 2.21 GHz. The Adreno graphics device supports image processing. This equipment is enough for almost all frequently used applications and games that do not require high power. That is, in everyday use there will be no problems with the performance of the device: it will work quickly and without jumps. If you want to run an advanced game with complex graphics, you can switch to a lower resolution. With prolonged use of the device for games, a slight heating of the case is observed.

Operating system (OS)

The Android 7.1.2 mobile base with the Flyme OS shell controls the Meizu 15 Lite smartphone. On this OS, the device shows high-speed and smooth functioning. The new shell is responsible for high-quality animation, easy design changes and night mode. Also, the updated OS allows you to quickly search for the right applications without taking your hands off the screen. You can only use mTouch for navigation. Management is simple: a short press - the "Back" function, long pressure on the button returns to the main screen, swiping from the bottom up will take you to the menu. If using mTouch seems inconvenient, you can work with three conventional control keys.

The smartphone has a vibration function when pressure is applied to the sensor.

The biggest disappointment from Meizu is that the smartphone does not have NFC. However, it is not in the other two anniversary models either.

Wireless data transfer is carried out using Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11n with 5 GHz.

Memory

Meizu 15 Lite has two variations: models with 32 GB of internal memory and 64 GB. If you need additional storage space, microSD drives are suitable.The device supports memory cards up to 256 GB.

Audio

But the sound characteristics of the device are wonderful. The sound in the headphones is clear, loud thanks to the Cirrus Logic chip (CS47L33 - the headphones themselves, SmarPA CS35L35 - speaker). The speaker also works flawlessly.

Protection

The smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and face recognition. The fingerprint indicator works quickly, only the button on which it is located may seem too small to some. The face recognition system is configured so that the phone unlocks as soon as it "sees" the owner's face.

The main camera on the back of the Meizu 15 Lite is single and has a resolution of 12 MP with f/1.9 aperture. The quality of daytime photography is good. At night, additional lighting is required for a clear photo. Video recording takes place at a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at a frequency of 30 frames per second. The device control button looks disproportionately small compared to the screen. The equipment of the smartphone is not bad, it supports the fast operation of the device. All the necessary programs are there, only NFC is missing.

The sound transmission is almost perfect. The cameras could be more interesting, for example, at least double. But only two other anniversary models received such a privilege: Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus. But in general, the pictures from both cameras are good. Add to everything not too high prices for models with both 32 GB and 64 GB, high-quality assembly and we get a reliable and budget device.
