Most of us no longer take our cameras with us on walks. Why carry a heavy gadget when you have a smartphone that takes great pictures?
Of course, not every phone is able to beautifully shoot objects located far from us. Especially when getting close is not always possible. And sometimes you want to capture a cute bird that sits on the top of a tree, and so that each of its feathers can be seen in the photo.
But, thanks to craftsmen from the Middle Kingdom, we will have such an opportunity. Vivo has created a new smartphone Vivo X30, which has at its disposal a completely unrealistic zoom.
Read our review and you will learn more about the gadget. We will talk about its functionality and main characteristics, orient it by price, and get into the filling.

Even 15 years ago, the phrase "reliable Chinese electronics manufacturer" would have sounded strange, but now the hardworking people from the Middle Kingdom do not cease to please us with high-quality equipment at an affordable price.
Vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd. also did not stand aside and broke into the smartphone market, eventually taking quite high positions in the sales rankings in China.
The company was founded in 2009, specializes in smartphones and spares no expense in advertising its products.
The first phones were designed for young people, so they were distinguished by their catchy design and budget cost. But every year Vivo worked on its products and gradually caught up and surpassed companies such as OPPO in certain characteristics.
In 2017, Vivo smartphones also came to Russia, however, there was no sensation in sales. Because the manufacturers for some reason decided that the Russians would start buying gadgets from some new and unknown company in our country worth 22,000 rubles. This brand is not particularly popular with us now. But time goes by, everything changes. Perhaps we will try out the new product - Vivo X30?
The past year 2019 was marked by several trends in the field of “smartphone construction”:
Vivo did not bypass these fashionable achievements of mobile electronics when creating its new X30. And if you look closely at its characteristics, it becomes clear that the manufacturer has every chance of success with this model. Everything to the maximum, especially since almost every competing manufacturer has a similar model in their product line. So there is a price comparison. Let's take a closer look at the Vivo X30.

As noted above, the rear camera is represented by a block with three matrices for various shooting conditions.
At the end of 2019, having a camera with a resolution of less than 48 megapixels in top devices on board is a frank bad manners. So Vivo decided not to waste time on trifles, and built a 64 megapixel wide-angle module as the main camera. A very good indicator, given that so far only one smartphone in the world, Xiaomi Mi Note 10, has a larger number of pixels - 108 megapixels.
The second camera - telephoto with a resolution of 32 megapixels, as well as the main one, supports face recognition, optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and is equipped with a double optical zoom.
For extra wide-angle shots, there is a third camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels.
To improve shooting in low light conditions, there is an LED flash located next to the camera unit.
In the front camera there is at least a single, but a chic matrix with a resolution of 32 megapixels. Selfie fans will be delighted. High-definition snapshot function is supported. The camera itself is located in a special cutout of the screen, goodbye to such annoying "bangs".
An IPS matrix is not suitable for premium devices, and Vivo did not save money, so we have a Super AMOLED display with HDR support in this device. It provides excellent readability even in bright sunlight, and the color saturation and tone reproduction is beyond praise.
6.44-inch diagonal with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD + and a total screen area of just over 100 square meters. cm makes it very convenient to work on this unit and surf the Internet. A 20:9 aspect ratio is comfortable for watching modern movies.
In terms of hardware, Vivo made an unexpected choice in favor of Samsung's Exynos 980 platform. The rejection of Snapdragon was most likely not only due to the increased power consumption of the latter. But also because of Samsung's support for 5G networks.
This processor is quite smart enough to switch 4G and 5G frequencies on the go for maximum connection speed. The amount of RAM will please techno geeks - 8 GB in all models. But the built-in memory is limited to two sizes: 128 or 256 GB and it is not expandable, since there is no slot for a memory card. Which is a controversial decision, especially with regard to the 128 GB model. When recording HD video, the memory will be mercilessly reduced.
The smartphone contains Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and GPS modules, so that the user does not feel like an outcast in the modern digital world.
In terms of design, like the vast majority of models now, the smartphone is a classic monoblock. The front surface is occupied by a screen with a protective coating of Gorilla Glass, made using frameless technology. The frame is certainly present, but it is so thin that it is almost not noticeable.
The back surface is made of glass. All this is glued to an elegant thin metal frame. All side edges are rounded, so that the device is very comfortable in the hand.
Controls: the power key and volume rocker are located on the right side, and the SIM card slot on the left.At the bottom is a connector for connecting a USB Type-C charger. On top is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
According to the specification, the smartphone will be equipped with a non-removable Li-Pol battery with a capacity of 4350 mAh. The presentation indicated active battery life of three days, but most likely this is a publicity stunt.
With a 6.44-inch screen, even with an energy-efficient platform, you shouldn't expect more than two days of use on a single battery charge. A bonus is a 33W charger for quick battery filling.
The price will depend on the configuration, a device with 128 GB of internal memory will cost 470 dollars, and with 256 GB a little more - 515 dollars. For smartphones with similar characteristics, the price is adequate, but still a bit overpriced.
Taking into account the fact that the models will be released at the end of the outgoing 2019, and at this time all manufacturers provide New Year and Christmas discounts in an effort to reduce the cost of products, Vivo for some reason did not please us with a decrease in the price of this smartphone.
Another circumstance should alert potential buyers: on the official Russian-language website of Vivo, models from the X line are not mentioned at all. They are present only in the English and Chinese sections. From which it follows that it is possible that this model will not be officially presented in Russia.
A decent model with a chic camera is certainly worthy of our attention, provided that we see it in Russia. But it is worth noting that the 5G network frequencies have not received permission for use in the Russian Federation, so this technology will become useless in our realities for the time being.
