Initially, the price for a piece of plastic seems too high, but with Oppo products, things are not so simple.The flagship Reno 3 Vitality is the case when the buyer pays not only for a beautiful and unique design, but also for good protection, as well as for a guaranteed long service life.

It’s worth starting with an almost perfect rectangular shape, Oppo’s notorious “soap dishes” have long since disappeared, leaving behind only slightly rounded edges to avoid microcracks and chips with dimensions of 160.3 x 74.3 x 8 mm. The protection of the smartphone does not end there. The side edges are prudently made of aluminum to prolong the life of the phone's weak points (corners, cutouts for charging and headphones, unlock button, camera).

In the first paragraph, we mentioned that Reno 3 Youth is the same as a piece of plastic. In fact, even luxury can envy the quality of the materials of this device. The case, although it looks like a glossy, cheap plastic, is made of tempered glass. The front as well. Grease marks and dirt hardly remain on the phone, and in secret, they are completely invisible on light colors. The material has additional armor in the form of Gorilla Glass 5 (the latest generation). This 180-gram novelty is not afraid to drop, but still we do not recommend checking it.

In addition, it is much stronger than the same IPS liquid crystal, which makes Reno 3 Vitality a real superhero in a protective suit. It has not so many minuses: fragility (LEDs burn out) and the PWM effect is harmful to vision.

This is not surprising, because the Snapdragon 765G has a complete set of 8 cores, divided into three clusters, well, according to a very interesting system. The first has one Kryo 475 Prime core clocked at 2.4 GHz. The second one also has one core at 2.2 GHz, and the last one has six at once with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The distribution seemed strange to many, even experts. The main camera is represented by a 48 MP main sensor, with an f/1.7 aperture, in which the light throughput is an order of magnitude higher than in the standard f/1.8, as well as a 26mm zoom. With such an arsenal, photos in sunny and rainy weather, even at night, will turn out well. Color reproduction is excellent, especially when shooting landscapes.

Additional lenses were divided into one with 8 MP, with a simple f / 2.2 aperture, but with a wide viewing angle of 13 mm, and two 2 MP each specifically for macro photography and setting the correct exposure of the frame. Of course it will be easier to show than to tell:

As for the front camera, there are no complaints here either. The lens produces 32 MP, with an aperture of f / 2.0. At night, the photo may not turn out as good as, for example, during the day, but there is enough power for a selfie.
