Huawei P40 Pro Premium will also be available in a ceramic case. The manufacturer claims that nanotechnology is used in the production. The result is a material that is comparable in strength to sapphire crystal and has a bright glossy sheen. Colors are black and white.

On the rear panel there is a block with five cameras, on the front part (in the upper left corner) there is a front camera. The cutout is reminiscent of a pill-capsule. By the way, many users have criticized this decision.

There is no dedicated slot for a memory card, for expansion you will have to sacrifice one SIM card. There is also no 3.5mm headphone jack.

If "smart" home devices are connected to the smartphone, you can open the control panel with one movement - you get a multifunctional control panel.

For those who like to take pictures always and everywhere, it is possible to remove objects that accidentally fell into the frame from the photo. Of course, it will not be possible to remove the crowd of tourists from the picture, but it is quite possible to remove a random passer-by.

Google Apps

To the disappointment of users, the new device will not have any pre-installed Google apps or the Google Play Store. Something can be found in Huawei's AppGallery.But what to replace the most popular WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube is still unknown. You will either have to download them yourself, or be content with the web versions.

By the way, services using Google GMS Core will not work on new smartphones. But, according to Huawei, to solve the problem, developers are involved, who will be able to offer users similar applications. But whether the South Korean brand will be able to compete with such a giant as Google is a big question.
Huawei's own development was also announced - the voice assistant Celia (analogue of Alice from Yandex). The functionality is standard - answers to questions, help in finding information. It is known that Celia will "speak" in English, French and Spanish.

• a practically useless contactless payment application (supported by 2, frankly, not the most popular banks among Russians);
• average battery capacity;
• lack of pre-installed Google applications.

It is expected that the start of sales in Russia will begin in late May, early June. As for the price, the announced cost is 1300 euros.
