Fujifilm X100T digital camera review

Fujifilm X100T digital camera review

At the moment, this camera has the best functionality among other digital cameras. The camera is equipped with an APS-C sensor with a standard Bayer pixel array. Hybrid autofocus, combines contrast and phase focusing methods. There are 91 focus points throughout the frame, with 35 points in the central area using the phase method, and those located at the edges of the contrast-type autofocus.

Main technical characteristics

There is a function of face recognition and focusing on the eyes. ISO sensitivity range is 200-12800 units. Although the manufacturer raised the maximum level of sensitivity - up to 51,200 units in ISO equivalent, but this can immediately be attributed to nothing more than a marketing ploy.

The body of the camera is made in a minimalist style with a design for classic film cameras. The top panel is made of anodized aluminum, the user is offered three colors to choose from: classic black, dark silver and gold. The rest of the body is made of soft plastic, which will not withstand even one fall to the floor. Also, it scratches easily. But the manufacturers gave a bonus to the owners of a wide palm: the kit includes a plastic overlay that increases the grip.

The top panel contains the main controls for shooting settings and a shoe for connecting additional devices (flash, remote microphone, video light). A flash is hidden above the lens, its power is enough for most typical scenes.
